Associate Professor, Anthropology

I am an anthropological primatologist with interests that combine primate behavioral ecology, conservation biology, sociocultural anthropology, and environmental anthropology. A primary focus of my research is the interface of primate ecology and human ecology and the implications of this interface for conservation.

I am currently involved in two field research projects:

1. Behavioral ecology, ethnoprimatology, and conservation of the Sulawesi macaques, Indonesia

2. The human-macaque interface along the Silver River, Ocala, Florida
